So its been a good start to the year.
Lil Girl the Tb mare had a foal last year that is coming along nicely. He'll now let me touch him and has gotten used to the idea of me being around.
Mirror had her foal and was quite happy to walk away and let me pat him, he is starting to get used to me being in the paddock
Annie had her second filly. Very nice arab head and gorgeous confirmation
Pebbles had her colt despite the slow start he is doing really well
Mischief had her colt the other day. Third foal so i know i dont have to worry about her mothering skills. Still very protective, though not as much as when Bam Bam was born.
The house herd, though having a spate with tape and other worms, are now looking fit and heathy, almost up to my perfect standard.
We are still missing Vinnie the Wonder horse, which was my tack display horse as he was unridable due to existing issues, yet was still a very big part of the house herd.
Shadow is kicking off buddy from the mares in season, and the stallion is ok with that.
Buddy my big fella has actually got a completely different attitude now. He listens to me if i growl at him, and the most i have to do is swing the lead rope if he decides to be difficult.
He is ok with the colts stepping between him and an inseason mare, which, after him killing a gelding five years ago,,,, I am really impressed with his behaviours now.
